Greg Young holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Queensland (1979), a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the Queensland Institute of Technology (now QUT) (1985) and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland (1984) and the High Court of Australia (1986). He has been a Justice of the Peace since 1982.

Greg is currently Queensland Immediate Past President of the Australian Institute of Credit Management and a past President of the Rotary Club of Wishart and the Australia-Africa Business Council. He is a Queensland Law Society Accredited specialist since 1999.

After joining MacGillivrays as a litigation specialist in 1988, Greg became a partner in 1991.

Greg is an experienced speaker on topics including debt recovery, credit control and insolvency litigation. He is also an accomplished author and has had articles published in various journals and magazines.

Greg spends his free time with his family and playing sport including surfing, golf and tennis.
