one of Australia’s leading lawyers in banking services Craig
Green heads one of the country’s largest banking teams handling
commercial and retail banking transactions.
Craig
oversees thousands of banking transactions each month giving him
extensive insight into the banking industry. He also holds the distinction
of being MacGillivrays current longest serving employee. After joining
MacGillivrays in 1976 as an articled law clerk, Craig became a Partner
in 1982, was Managing Partner for ten years from 1994, and returned
to the Managing Partner role in 2008.
As
part of MacGillivrays’ commitment to training and education,
Craig regularly delivers seminars on mortgage lending law to clients
and small business groups. He has also lectured in mortgage lending
law at both the Securities Institute of Australia and TAFE.
Craig
is admitted to practise in all states and territories of Australia
and is a Notary Public.
He has held the positions of National Vice President and Queensland
President of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia and
is currently, for the second time, President of the Queensland council
and sits on the Associations Board.
When
he’s not working, Craig spends time with his children, surfs
and goes to the gym.
