• Morning and afternoon mail, including express post, courier bags and all record keeping
• Security and settlement packet record keeping
• Opening files and obtaining searches
• Attending to in-house settlements
• Preparing files for archiving
• Faxing, Scanning, Photocopying and Filing as required

Job Role: Banking Paralegal (12 month contract) – (Brisbane)  

Reporting to the Team Leader and Banking Operations Manager you will be responsible for "start to finish" mortgage files (40-50 per month). With some administration assistance your role will include:

• Assessing instructions and loan structures
• Preparing Mortgage documentation within 24 hours (including Trusts, Companies and Guarantees)
• Checking executed documents and highlighting outstanding items within 24 hours
• Certifying to Funder
• Arranging and ensuring settlement is effected
• Ensuring stamping and registration of security documents within service levels
• Ensuring return of the registered security packet within service levels
• Liaising with Solicitors, Mortgagees, Mortgage Managers and Brokers
• Marketing and Client Relationship Management

• Monthly billing
• Dictaphone, general typing and reformatting of documents
• Drafting legal documents from precedents
• Drafting letters as required
• Proof reading
• Must have exceptional attention to detail, spelling and grammar skills
• A minimum of 2 years in a PA role is required
• Typing speed of 70wpm
• Experience in the Property or Commercial Litigation areas a benefit
