Tony Newton joined MacGillivrays in 1998 after achieving degrees in Commerce and Law from the University of Queensland.

Working within the Corporate and Business Group, Tony is recognised by clients for providing efficient and commercially sound service and advice. He became a Partner with the firm in 2007.

Although he has a particular interest in franchising and joint ventures, Tony also has experience in litigation, banking and finance as well as commercial property law. This comprehensive skills base combined with his focus on achieving practical and cost effective results adds value to the work he provides for clients.

Outside of work Tony is a keen bike rider and enjoys spending time with his young family.
