Guy Edgecombe is an experienced litigator recognised for his
common sense and strategic approach to resolving disputes
and
advising
on commercial
matters.
His
clients include professional service firms, liquidators, public
and private companies and financiers. As well as acting on behalf
of these clients, Guy passes on his skills to them through regular
training in risk management and credit control.
An
expert on trade practices, Guy has extensive experience advising
on issues ranging from competition and money lending through to
franchisor liability and industry price fixing.
He
has published articles and lectured on a broad range of topics
including public risk, insolvency, insurance law and trade practices
law. He is also a trained mediator.
Guy
has practised in the field of litigation since 1983, has been
a specialist litigator and partner with MacGillivrays since 1995
and is a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of
Australia.
On
weekends, Guy can usually be found working on his ten acre property,
cycling, playing tennis or just keeping fit. In winter he likes
to hit the snow fields.
